Call for Donations to Earthquake Relief Fund

Dear members of the community,
You all know that a massive 7.8-magnitude earthquake centered in Wenchuan, Sichuan, China
occurred at 14:28 pm on May 12, 2008. The death toll has passed 15,000
and there are still thousands of lives under rubbles. Rescue workers
are digging through flattened schools and homes in a desperate attempt
to find survivors of China's worst earthquake in three decades.
Milwaukee Chinese Community Center (MCCC) is calling for donations to raise fund for the earthquake relief.
It is a difficult time for our beloved country, the big family. Let us
show our loving hearts and lend our helping hands to those who are
suffering from the disaster. We encourage you, your families and
friends to donate to the relief fund through MCCC. Your donations will
be tax deductible. Please make checks payable to MCCC with “Earthquake
Relief Fund” in the Memo.

5/18/2008: 2 pm to 4 pm, Room 198 Lalumiere Language Hall of Marquette University
6/01/2008: 2 pm to 4 pm, Room 198 Lalumiere Language Hall of Marquette University

If you want to mail your donations, please mail to: MCCC, PO BOX 664 Brookfield, WI 53008-0664. The deadline for the mail-in donations is June 30th.
