We hope that all families have stayed safe and healthy. With the Covid-19 pandemic still going on, we decided to continue online classes in the Fall semester. 

The new school year will start on 9/13/2020 and we are pleased to announce that registration is now open. Please complete your registration for your child/children by 9/13/2020 to get a $40 discount from the language class tuition. if your child/children enrolled in a third class last spring, a $60 credit will be applied to your total tuition. We will not collect parent duty deposit this year. The total tuition displayed on the invoice is for the entire school year. We only offer five extra-curricular classes this fall.

1. Art Projects (15 seats maximum)- taught by Eriks Johnson

 This class will focus on developing the imagination and creativity of the children. Skill building will be interjected into the classes but it will not be in the forefront of the class. The emphasis will be less on making things look “real or detailed” and more on completing a picture with thoughtful ideas. An objective will be to find what motivates the child to be creative and give their work full attention. We will mostly draw but other mediums will be explored as well.

2. Fun Drawing/开心趣画 - taught by Tairan Sun

     每周选一课有趣的画法或题材，比如一笔画，夸张画法，等等，在开开心心中提高学生的创作力.

     To explore a variety of fun subjects and drawing methods cultivating students' creativity.

3. Math/数学兴趣班 - taught by Ganhua Lu

    目标：培养孩子对数学的兴趣；帮助孩子加深对数学概念的理解；训练思维水平；提高运用数学知识解决问题的能力。

    对象：小学四年级学生

    教材: Math League Contest Problem Books (https://www.mathleague.com/index.php/online-store/contest-books-grades-4-6-grades-7-8- algebra-1-high-school)

   内容与形式：以教材为基础，适当地综合和拓展教学内容，侧重对学生进行数学思考、解决问题策略的培养。训练与讲解相结合，保证学生能在一定量训练的  基础上扎实有效地掌握知识，形成技能，拓展视野，开发智力。 

                 课堂教学以英语为主。

5. Dance I (5 - 7 years old) - taught by Lisa Wong/Emily Zhang
